Dr Dirk Gewert has over 20 years of experience working with biopharmaceuticals in both pharma and biotech companies. He was involved with the development of a number of commercial products, including Wellferon, a cell derived natural interferon, and Campath‐1H (alemtuzumab), a humanized antibody that is now a major product for the treatment of leukemia and lymphoma. Rowan Gardner is a life science strategy and business development professional with a substantial network of investor contacts that participate in all stages of company creation and growth. As Head of Investor Relations at Oxford Molecular (an LSE main market listed Oxford University spin out) she worked with the Board and the company’s financial advisors to develop and deliver the corporate communications, IR and PR strategies. Dr Steve Gardner has over 20 years of experience and a strong track record of building world-class companies, teams and products within the life science and healthcare industries. He specializes in designing and delivering advanced semantic integration and search systems and has raised over £50M, participated in an LSE flotation and 11 corporate acquisitions. Read More.

Dr. Tony Smith is an associate of BioLauncher, and currently has a portfolio of roles reflecting his interests in advanced life science technology platforms. Included amongst these, he is Chief Scientist, Europe for Cell Biosciences Inc. and is a member of the BBSRC Tools & Resources Strategy Panel and the Scientific Advisory Board of The Genome Analysis Centre.
