About ShowcaseBio

ShowcaseBio provides a business development and investment toolkit for the life science industry, and its stakeholders. We use the system to help clients identify and evaluate potential customers, collaborators and funders rapidly and cost effectively. We can also use the system on behalf of investors to support due diligence and identify potential exits.

Applications of ShowcaseBio

BioLauncher has used ShowcaseBio to help a range of customers with business development, strategic decision making and partnering projects. Companies that are planning to launch into new territories can identify their target audience in precise scientific terms to identify key opinion leaders or plan a new market entry strategy.

Our revenue generating clients have benefited from combining ShowcaseBio with e-marketing tools. Biolauncher has run a variety of successful fully integrated e-marketing campaigns for clients, increasing client enquiries, sales pipelines and web site traffic.

We have successfully used the system to help companies decide where to locate their European operations. For example, by mapping a business’ suppliers and prospective customers and overlaying the direct flights from the nearest airport/s, the relative connectivity of each location to the key markets is revealed. In the figure below all of Europe’s biologics companies are plotted on the map. The grey circles show a 50 mile radius around all airports that are served by direct flights from London Stansted airport, just south of Cambridge, UK.

We have also used the system to identify and compare key opinion leaders in scientific fields. Most recently we have analysed the scientific literature to identify and contrast the perfromance of the major centres of stem cell research.
